With the exception of the acrylic ceiling, everything in this sculpture is a PLA 3D print. The models were created using photogrammetry to scan real-world plushies and then had their meshes reduced to create their final, abstract form. Although the piece has the spirit of a diorama, the simplified forms and all-white environment create a sense of otherness to the piece. It is either a replica of a scene that we know nothing about, or a bastardized version of something we know well.

Sauf le toit acrylique, cette sculpture est entièrement un imprimé 3D en PLA. Les modèles étaient des copies 3D des vrais peluches, reconstituée avec de la photogrammétrie. Leur maillage polygonal était réduit et simplifiée pour créer le résultat final des modèles. Le forme abstrait à l’air d’un diorama – cependant, la simplification et l’environnement tout blanc fournit l’altérité. Que ce soit une réplique d’une scène dont on ne connait rien ou une version dégradée d’un lieu qu’on connait bien, cette sculpture ne vient pas complètement « de nous. »
